Berghotel Astenkrone

This 4-star-superior hotel in the mountain village of Altastenberg offers individually furnished rooms and spa facilities. It is at the foot of Kahlen Asten Mountain, 4.5 km from Winterberg.

In addition to a welcome drink on arrival, a free bottle of mineral water can be found in each of the Berghotel Astenkrone's rooms. These spacious rooms also feature cable TV and views of the beautiful Sauerland Valley.

Each morning a typically regional, Sauerland breakfast buffet is served. In the evening, the Astenkrone’s gourmet restaurant specialises in 3-course and 4-course meals using seasonal, local ingredients.

The Astenkrone’s spa area features an indoor swimming pool, saunas, a steam room, thermal bath, Kneipp foot bath and a terrace with loungers. The use of these as well as a bath robe is free for guests.

Guests also have free use of the hotel’s skittle alley and a nearby minigolf course. The Sauerland card is given to all guests, and allows free use of the Sauerland’s public transport system.
