Above Lake Taupo at The Pillars Retreat is only a 10-minute drive from Taupo town centre. It is a 15-minute drive to Taupo Airport and to Huka Falls. Free bus depot and airport transfers are provided.

Breakfast is served in the dining room each morning or can be taken al fresco in the courtyard.

Each room includes a TV, refrigerator, en suite bathroom and under-floor heating. Guests will find a selection of teas, coffee, fresh fruit and bottled water, and a bottle of wine is provided upon arrival.

The spacious shared lounge area features double doors that open onto the lawn and overlook the tennis court. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and gazebo with outdoor seating.
